Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], September 5 (ANI): Chaos erupted on the streets of Gandhinagar when a school bus carrying children got stuck in a deep pothole on a road for hours on Thursday in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, officials said.
Later, a JCB was put into service to pull the bus out of the pothole.
Officials further added that there were no loss of life or injuries reported in the incident.
Vishal Rabari, Assistant Engineer, GMC, told ANI, “We immediately reached the spot and pulled it out with the help of JCB…We have also filled the pothole… No casualty has been reported…”
Heavy rain has been disrupting normal lives in the state for the past couple of days. Rail and bus services were affected and waterlogging rendered several parts inaccessible.
Several parts of Gandhinagar witnessed severe waterlogging, disrupting traffic in the region on Tuesday. (ANI)
